These classes enable you to move more efficiently and comfortably.

They increase your awareness of how you move and improve coordination. Assisting you in changing habits that are limiting your life.

Discover practical ways to reduce pain and stiffness and improve recovery from injury or surgery.

You will be verbally guided through movement explorations directing your attention to various elements such as skeletal connections, level of effort, direction of force, limitations of willpower and many more variables that influence how you move.

They also provide a pathway to enhance other practices you may be involved in such as: sporting activities, yoga, meditation and Pilates.

Weekly, daytime and evening classes available.

They are suitable for all ages and abilities.

 Hydrotherapy Active Aware Classes

These classes are performed in water using the principles of buoyancy and hydrostatic pressure.

In water there is less loading on joints and increased relaxation providing a unique environment to improve function, coordination, strength, flexibility and decrease pain.

Immersing yourself at various water levels allows you to dramatically improve your balance responses and improve your ability to move with greater confidence.

These classes allow you to perform movements that may feel impossible on land but through learning them in water a neural bridge can be formed to enhance functioning.

Individual sessions are also available in the water.

These sessions focus on specific areas of the body that cause you concern. They provide an opportunity to explore in greater depth ways to improve your functioning. For example, you explore the role of the jaw and the connection to neck pain. How using your hip joint improves and protects your lower back. You will be guided in Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons and other practical exercises developed over many years of experience.

Sally weaves her physiotherapy clinical experience to provide insightful knowledge.

These sessions are experiential, so not only do you learn practical, everyday ideas - you leave feeling better in your body with strategies to maintain the improvement you have gained.

They are suitable for all ages and abilities.
